The NeMLA Summer Fellowship Program is designed to support the research of NeMLA members, especially untenured junior faculty, graduate students, and independent scholars.
Fellowships up to $1,200 are intended to defray the cost of traveling incurred by researchers in pursuing their work-in-progress over the summer.
This program does not provide funding for conference travel, equipment, food, or general office expenses.
Though the Fellowship Program is designed to support untenured junior faculty, graduate students, and independent scholars, this does not preclude senior faculty from applying.
The application materials must be sent electronically to fellowship@nemla.org as MS Word attachments:
The application deadline for the NeMLA Summer Fellowship is February 6.
