The 43rd convention of the Northeast Modern Language Association will be held in Rochester, New York March 15 - 18, 2012. Our host institution this year is St. John Fisher College, and the convention will be held at the Hyatt Regency Rochester. You can find full details about the convention on the convention 2012 page.

Registration for chairs and accepted presenters is now open. You can find details about rates and instructions for registering through Acteva on our Registration and Membership page. Registration for convention participants is required by 1 December. A late fee is assessed for any registration after 1 December, and no registration is accepted after 22 December. Registration for auditors will open on 22 December.

This year the convention includes special events with two notable authors. Cornelius Eady will appear Thursday evening and Jennifer Egan will appear Friday evening. More details about these events will be available soon on the convention page.

Mobile Device Availability

Previously, NeMLA used a dedicated mobile site (m.nemla.org) to provide a customized experience for visitors with mobile devices. NeMLA’s entire site now automatically reformats itself to provide an appropriate visual experience based on the dimensions of your device. Visitors to the old mobile site will be automatically redirected to the desired resource on the unified site.
