Site Search Now Available

A new site search feature makes it easier to find what you need on the NeMLA site.

This evening we’ve officially released a new search feature for the NeMLA site.

The site search, which is available from any page using a new search icon in the site header, provides results from across the site. It automatically suggests search terms as you type, and the results are listed in order of relevance.

This new feature, and the new header icons we are releasing with it, is part of a series of planned features to make the site easier to use and more informative, particularly during the convention. Additional new features will be forthcoming in the weeks leading up to convention 2012.

If you have questions about this new feature, or encounter a problem when trying to use it, let us know by emailing nemlaweb@gmail.com.

NeMLA Site Goes Mobile

We’ve replaced m.nemla.org with a newly flexible nemla.org.

To prepare for convention 2011, we created a version of the site dedicated to mobile devices at m.nemla.org. This site was optimized for mobile devices, but using it required people to remember a different address and think to enter it when visiting the site.

We’re pleased to announce that the NeMLA site (available at http://nemla.org/) now automatically reformats itself to provide an appropriate layout based on the dimensions of your device. This reformatting happens automatically; there’s no need to remember a different address or choose a specific type of view when you visit the site.

To make this transition as smooth as possible, visitors to the old mobile site will be automatically redirected to the desired resource on the unified site.

If you have comments or questions about this new feature, you can direct them to NeMLA’s webmasters by emailing nemlaweb@gmail.com. We hope you enjoy the change.
